This pendant is approximately the size of a 1-pence piece or a 5-cent coin and holds a similar weight. This makes it comfortable to wear, and as cute as a button!
 
The Finish -  The glossy white white enamel features handpainted pine needles. This colour choice mimics the dark green of pine needles.

The Pine Tree
There are a variety of Pine species around the Mediterranean. The 
nuts, cones, needles, sap, bark, and pollen all have medicinal uses.

A Few Medicinal Properties - A good anti-septic, a remedy for colds and joint inflammation. The resin, made into a salve, can be used to remove splinters, insects, and stings.
